We understand that giving up a pet is never an easy decision. Life can change in ways we don’t expect, and sometimes rehoming a pet becomes the most responsible choice. ARF is here to help however we can — with compassion, honesty, and respect for both people and pets. Please note: Our ability to accept pets into foster care depends on available space and may be contingent on a meeting and/or evaluation by our trainer.

If we’re unable to take your pet into foster care, we may be able to help by offering a courtesy listing on our website for spayed or neutered pets without a bite history.

We know how difficult these situations can be, especially when a pet has shown aggression. If your pet poses a danger to people or other animals, we strongly recommend consulting your veterinarian about humane euthanasia. This is never an easy decision, but it can sometimes be the kindest and safest option—for both your pet and others.
